Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that can affect attention, impulsivity, activity levels, organisation and emotional regulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For staff working in healthcare, social care and education, understanding ADHD helps to create a more inclusive environment, improve communication and ensure individuals receive the right person-centred support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is ADHD?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ADHD is usually associated with difficulties around attention, hyperactivity and impulsivity; as such, the way it presents often varies from person to person. Some people might have difficulty with tasks requiring concentration or organisation, although others may experience restlessness, impulsive behaviour or struggle to manage their emotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ADHD can affect everyday activities, relationships, education and employment.
