Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Training

This course has been designed to help the learner understand and apply practical, inclusive strategies for supporting children and adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It explores how ADHD presents across the lifespan and how to create environments that reduce distress, build on strengths, and promote meaningful participation. The course adopts a neurodiversity-affirming approach to promote dignity, autonomy, and inclusion.

There are exercises throughout the course to help the learner reflect on attitudes toward neurodivergence and apply their understanding in real-world scenarios.

The aim of the course is to introduce best practice techniques and provide practical tools, frameworks, and strategies which, when applied, can help the learner competently support individuals with ADHD across care, education, and community settings.
