Description

This course has been designed to help the learner identify and describe ligature risks, conduct risk assessments and follow an advised operating procedure for responding to ligature incidents, including the use of tools. There are exercises to apply your understanding throughout the course. The aim of the course is to introduce best practice techniques and provide processes and strategies which when applied can help the learner to reach a level of competency in handling situations where a ligature has been used, or where there is the option to apply appropriate preventative measures.
