Course: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Training (SOVA) - Level 1

This course aims to provide ancillary workers with some of the basic knowledge and skills necessary to understand key issues related to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of Vulnerable Adults. This involves understanding key safeguarding definitions and types of abuse, basic legislation, professional responsibilities towards vulnerable adults; knowing how to react and prevent abuse; record-keeping and working with other professionals to promote Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults.
