This training course is designed to support care team leaders and seniors with their role.

On satisfactory completion of this course you will have an understanding of your role as a team leader in the care industry, how to successfully complete a care plan and risk assessment, knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty, and how to successfully communicate with service users, staff and other professionals in your role.
This course is split into two sections:
Section 1 will overview the main responsibilities of a team leader, focusing on completing care packages (including communication and the Mental Capacity Act).
Section 2 will cover the other key responsibilities of a team leader such as risk assessments, compliance, and the out-of-hours procedure.
