This module covers the fifth of fifteen standards of the Care Certificate, 'Working in a Person-Centred Way'. It will include understanding person-centred values and using these in your work, making others aware if their actions are causing discomfort or distress, supporting individuals to minimise pain or discomfort, and supporting individuals to maintain their identity and self-esteem. It also includes Confidentiality and the importance of this.
