This course has been designed to help the learner to understand and apply Positive Behaviour strategies. Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) relies on spotting patterns and triggers before behaviour escalates and the course covers how to prevent and handle escalation using a multi-disciplinary approach. It is important to apply a consistent PBS approach across an organisation.
There are exercises to apply your understanding throughout the course.
The aim of the course is to introduce best practice techniques and provide processes and strategies which when applied can help the learner to reach a level of competency in handing situations where Positive Behaviour Support strategies can be used.
